The Crafts Inn, originally known as Childs Tavern, has been a cornerstone of Wilmington since 1902. Designed by the esteemed firm McKim, Mead & White, the inn has hosted notable figures, including President William Howard Taft. Its Shingle-Style architecture and rich history make it a cherished landmark in the Wilmington Village Historic District.
